Yahweh uses the innocence of children to reveal to us our spiritual blindness, yet oftentimes it is through that blindness that we corrupt our children’s innocence.
Matthew 18:2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The writings of C.S. Lewis, as well as J.R.R Tolkien are especially nefarious in regard to corrupting the innocence of children as they are the primary audience. Both series are saturated in witchcraft, paganism, and mystic lore and I am fully convinced that both Lewis and Tolkin were very much intentional in who they were targeting within their audience through their writings. Once children are desensitized to an area of sinful behavior the more innocence they lose. Eventually, those same children become adults that perpetuate the same cycle upon their own children. This is how sin, and sin cycles become generational. This is why Jesus/Yeshua took it quite seriously to those who put a stumbling block before children:
Matthew 18:6“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
It is a great cause for concern when so many praise Lewis for being a follower of Christ, yet scripture says those who promote these kinds of writings/practices, especially aimed at children will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Revelation 21:8 – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Through the writings of not only Lewis but Tolkien a great many have been lured into occult fantasy and promoting such work as being compatible with the bible. This desensitization into the occult and witchcraft has allowed Satan to get a stronghold in many professing believers lives, as well as entire congregations. Continue reading “C.S. Lewis, J.R.R.
