Gen 3: 6And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, and she took of its fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Many, while believing that the food they are partaking in is good and seems pleasant to the eyes, is actually instead rotten to the core and infested with the eggs of flies. Those who are wise in their own eyes, and seek after gnosis (‘knowledge’), free-fully and willfully bite off more than they can chew, as the food they lust after fulfills the hunger within them.
