In a previous blog post I did called “The Law went Forth From Zion“, this closely follows or rather builds upon a lot of the information that I brought up pertaining to our King and Kingdom. However, this post, will bring in more pertaining to the transfer of the Kingdom with the birth of the Messiah, the rightful heir.
Genesis 49:10The SCEPTER WILL NOT DEPART FROM JUDAH, nor the staff from between his feet, UNTIL SHILOH COMES and the allegiance of the nations is his.
This was a blessing that Jacob gave to his sons, and the passage mentioned is to Judah. The term “Shiloh” is making reference to the coming Messiah Yeshua/Jesus and is translated in the LXX (Septuagint-Greek Translation of Hebrew Bible) as “He for who it is laid up” which is speaking of the proper heir of inheritance, “Of to whom the inheritance belongs”. Judah was also the first-born, which has to do with inheritance.
This is solidified when we read passages concerning the Promise, the Seed, and to Whom it belonged(inheritance):
♦Galatians 3:16The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “AND TO YOUR SEED,” MEANING ONE, WHO IS CHRIST.
♦Galatians 3:18For if the INHERITANCE depends on the Law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise.19Why then was the Law given? It was added because of transgressions, UNTIL THE ARRIVAL OF THE SEED TO WHOM THE PROMISE REFERRED. It was administered through angels by a mediator.
This is why Yeshua/Jesus came from Judah, and also why the House of Judah remained in the land until the arrival of the Messiah.
Numbers 24:17I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A STAR WILL COME OUT OF JACOB, AND A SCEPTER WILL ARISE FROM ISRAEL. He will crush the skulls of Moab and strike down all the sons of Sheth.
When Yeshua was born and the Eastern Star shown in the sky, the Magi who were learned in the Scriptures, knew what this implied:
Matthew 2:1Now when Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judaea, in the days of Herodus the King, The Magi came from The East to Jerusalem. 2And they were saying, “WHERE IS THE KING OF THE JUDAEANS WHO HAS BEEN BORN”? FOR WE HAVE SEEN HIS STAR IN THE EAST AND WE HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM. (APE)
Now, the above translation I like (Aramaic Plain English) which properly translates the term “Jew” to Judaea, and why He was to be called the “King of the Judaeans” because it was the prophesy that He would be the rightful heir and a King to the “throne of David”.
David was an earthly king, who ruled over the whole house of Israel. Later on the House of Israel split and became two kingdoms, the northern which was called the House of Israel and was comprised of 10 tribes, and the southern which was the House of Judah and was comprised of 2 tribes, Judah and Benjamin. Eventually the House of Israel was divorced(Jer 3:8) and cast out of covenant. Later, the House of Judah would become a widow upon the death of Messiah; offering both houses a New Covenant through belief in Yeshua. 
Yeshua, One greater than David, likewise would rule over the whole House of Israel, yet not from an earthly throne, but heavenly. Not only did YHWH come in the flesh to redeem us, but to also take the Kingdom back as the rightful heir.
Isaiah 9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.7Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. HE WILL REIGN ON THE THRONE OF DAVID AND OVER HIS KINGDOM, TO ESTABLISH AND SUSTAIN IT WITH JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM THAT TIME AND FOREVERMORE.
There are so many other passages that also reference this however let us simply go to a fulfilling verse in Luke that speaks directly from above passage:
Luke 1:31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him THE THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID: 33AND HE SHALL REIGN OVER THE HOUSE OF JACOB FOR EVER; AND OF HIS KINGDOM THERE SHALL BE NO END.(KJV)
Yeshua brought both houses together into ONE NEW MAN which is called the whole house of Jacob, or as we know the Whole House of Israel, as Jacob’s name was changed to Israel.
The kingdom of God was taken from those whom it did not belong(Ishmael), and given to those through the SEED(Isaac):
♦Matthew 21:43Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
♦Romans 9:6It is not as though God’s word has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7Nor because they are Abraham’s descendants are they all his children. On the contrary, “Through Isaac your offspring will be reckoned.” 8So it is not the children of the flesh who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as offspring.
It went from a fleshly earthly nation, kingdom, etc, to a heavenly. To grant us access to eternal life, to the eternal everlasting kingdom of God. Which is why the Kingdom was preached.
Mark 1:14After the arrest of John, Jesus went into Galilee and proclaimed the gospel of God. 15“THE TIME IS FULFILLED,” He said, “AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR. Repent and believe in the gospel!”(BSB)
In Micah 5:2, you see that out of Judah shall come Shiloh, to be ruler over Israel(House of Jacob) who’s origins are from old(Ancient of Days who sits upon His Throne-Dan 7:22) which came to fulfillment when Yeshua came in the flesh:
Micah 5:2:
2But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for Me ONE TO BE RULER OVER ISRAEL, WHOSE ORIGINS ARE OF OLD, FROM THE DAYS OF ETERNITY.
And Micah 5:2 was fulfilled according to:
Matthew 2:3But Herodus The King heard and he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him. 4And he gathered the Chief Priests and the Scribes of the people together and was asking them, “Where would The Messiah be born?.” 5And they said, “In Bethlehem of Judaea”, for thus it is written in The Prophets: 6″You, Bethlehem of Judea, were not the least among the Kings of Judaea, for from you shall PROCEED THE KING WHO SHALL SHEPHERD MY PEOPLE ISRAEL.”(APE)
Prior to His crucifixion, He rode into Jerusalem as a KING, AND A KING RULES IN HIS KINGDOM.
♦Zechariah 9:9Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! See, YOUR KING COMES TO YOU, righteous and victorious, gentle and RIDING ON A DONKEY, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
♦John 12:14Finding a young donkey, Jesus/Yeshua sat on it, as it is written: 15“Do not be afraid, O daughter of Zion. SEE, YOUR KING IS COMING, SEATED ON THE COLT OF A DONKEY.”
♦Jeremiah 10:10But the LORD(YHWH) is the true God, he is the living God, AND AN EVERLASTING KING: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Not only a King, but also a Priest:
♦Hebrews 7:1This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,2and Abraham apportioned to him a tenth of everything. First, his name means “KING of righteousness.” Then also, “KING of Salem” means “KING of peace.” 3Without father or mother or genealogy, WITHOUT BEGINNING OF DAYS OR END OF LIFE, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time.
♦Hebrews 7:13He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14FOR IT IS CLEAR THAT OUR LORD DESCENDED FROM JUDAH, A TRIBE AS TO WHICH MOSES SAID NOTHING ABOUT PRIESTS.
With perfect harmony between the two roles, order of Melchizedek:
Zechariah 6:13Yes, he will build the Temple of the LORD. Then he will receive royal honor and WILL RULE AS KING FROM HIS THRONE. HE WILL ALSO SERVE AS PRIEST FROM HIS THRONE, and there will be perfect harmony between his two roles.’
This brings me to a very interesting point to the placard that was placed above Yeshua’s head, written prophetically by Pontius Pilate, in Hebrew, Greek and Latin, that read “Yeshua/Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews”. 
Broken down in Hebrew:
The Pharisees were pretty upset at such, as well as the many prophesies that Yeshua spoke concerning the coming wrath on the House of Judah, and that their Kingdom would be taken from them, as mentioned above, and why they sought to kill Him:
♦Matthew 21:38But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, THIS IS THE HEIR; COME LET US KILL HIM, AND LET US SEIZE ON HIS INHERITANCE. 39AND THEY CAUGHT HIM, AND CAST HIM OUT OF THE VINEYARD, AND SLEW HIM.
♦Matthew 21:43Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
And indeed it was taken from them, and given to those who are born again through the SEED, producing fruit through the Spirit. So the Kingdom, just like the priesthood, changed from an earthly inheritance to an eternal; because as it is written:

Shiloh came, “To Whom it Belonged”, and the Scepter(kingdom) departed from Judah and given to the rightful heir, Messiah; and those who abide in Messiah, are the co-heirs with Him, a royal priesthood:
Rom 8:16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ — if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Hebrews 12:28Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
