A memory from the past has invaded my mind, a one of slavery and corruption, although not understood at the time, as I was just as bound, looking out the window of my own soul…..
A time about 16 years ago, while I was active duty AF, I went on a short duty assignment to Thailand. I remember one night, as we all went out to party, we went to this place as the guys referred to as the fish bowl, and the thought of it now makes my stomach turn. We entered this building, a type of club, the aroma of cigarettes and alcohol invaded my nostrils, and my body at the time welcomed it, as it was already pumping though my body. I looked immediately to my left, and there it was, what was referred to as the fish bowl; wall upon wall of glass pane windows, and inside those windows, were women, sitting on carpeted stairs, with numbers pinned to the upper left of their clothing. I can still see their faces, staring void at me. Lifeless souls that had been purchased with a price. I started to feel ill, and at the time was completely unaware of human trafficking. In the center were an array of couches with men sitting down having conversations with these women with numbers on their shirts, as if an invisible shackle was keeping them bound in place. The looming darkness surrounded me even more, and I felt the evil pounding on me….
The fate of those women, I cannot say, but I have prayed, and I know One who came to set the captives free….as I myself looking back, I was not much different…then that wounded fish looking lifelessly out her own fishbowl…. I was a bound slave to my sin, held captive by invisible chains that I could not see, but feel, and just another number to the enemy, enslaved to the corruption of this world.
Many of souls are bartered and traded, for a luxury that will soon come to an end, corrupt men will be guilty, and thrown down to their destruction by the Most High Judge.
Rev 18:11And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, AND SLAVES, AND SOULS OF MEN.(KJV)

Luke 4:14And Jesus(Yeshua) returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18The Spirit of the Lord (YHWH)is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; HE HATH SENT ME TO HEAL THE BROKENHEATED, TO PREACH DELIVERANCE TO THE CAPTIVES, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,(KJV)
