The Dangers of AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) and Celebrate Recovery.

There are many who have either themselves or known someone to have gone through AA, NA, Alanon, etc. However, what is the true motive of this program, what is it’s foundation, and is it suitable for those who profess to be walking with Messiah? Or perhaps a sort of ‘alternative’ that is more “Christ” centered such as Celebrate Recovery? Continue reading “The Dangers of AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) and Celebrate Recovery.”

Modesty and Cosmetics…A Personal Journey

Over the past years, Abba has taken me, and continues to take me, on a journey through maturity, refinement, submission, and healing. Part of this journey,  has been defining who I am as a woman, wife, mother, and daughter of the King. I have struggled in many of these areas but thanks to Yah’s grace and mercy, I have been able to overcome, and continue to do so.

I think that many, if not most of us,  go through a sort of ‘identity crisis’ as we enter into covenant with Yeshua, and rightfully so as we are drawn further out of the worlds ways and into His. For those who continue to pick up their cross, and press into Him, we are continually being made new in areas in our life, loosing the desires of our own heart, and acquiring the desires of His heart. Circumcision and the Bridegroom of Blood

There are just certain passages in the Scriptures, that have you at somewhat a standstill on the proper meaning until  the right time, the right maturity, and the Spirit gives wisdom and understanding.  It is a passage that you mentally put on the shelf, and await the time to take it down.

So, I will begin with the parable of the Wedding Feast in Matthew 22: Continue reading “What’s in a parable? Hidden Treasure, that’s for sure.”

Deborah, the Righteous Bride, who dwelt under the Palm Tree

Deborah, a prophetess and judge, mentioned in the Book of Judges, typifies the righteous Bride of Messiah; the faithful/sanctified of the Body of Messiah and not some anomaly that gives woman the right or the role to rule or usurp the spiritual authority of the man, which goes directly against YHWH’s divine order.

Judges 4:4And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. 5And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. A Tale of the 2 Covenants/2 Israels (Part 2)

A Tale of the 2 Covenants/2 Israels (Part 2)

If you would like to go to Part 1, click here.

The Old Covenant was a type/shadow to lead to Yeshua our Mediator, His Body as the Temple, His Perfect Sacrifice, and an eternal inheritance.  In order for the Second Covenant (Issac/Spirit) to properly inherit, then the First Covenant (Ishmael/Flesh) had to be cast out. This is why the Flesh is nailed to the Cross.
