I am still just so amazed by this, and that the Holy Spirit helped me in seeing and understanding:
John 9:1And passing by, He saw a man, blind from birth.2And His taught ones asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?”3יהושע answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of Elohim might be made manifest in him.
4“It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day – night is coming, when no one is able to work.5“While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6Having said this, HE SPAT ON THE GROUND AND MADE CLAY WITH THE SALIVA, AND APPLIED THE CLAY TO THE EYES OF THE BLIND MAN.
7And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Shiloaḥ” (which means Sent). So he went and washed, and came seeing.(ISR 98)
This man that was blind from birth, that Yeshua took the dirt of the ground and spit into it to make clay, and put the clay on the eyes of the man and then told him to go wash in the pool of Shiloah, is in correlation to how He(being our Creator) took the dust of the earth and made us. Then He breathed life(the Spirit) into us making us a living soul.
The washing of the water is representing the living water, cleansing us. Yeshua was showing them WHO HE WAS!
Gen 2:7And יהוה (YHWH)Elohim FORMED THE MAN OUT OF THE DUST FROM THE GROUND, AND BREATHED INTO HIS NOSTRILS THE BREATH OF LIFE. And the man became a living being.(ISR 98)
YHWH had made that man blind from birth so that in that moment He could be glorified and showing them WHO HE WAS in the FLESH! So that is why Yeshua knew that this man had no sin to cause his blindness! Just in absolute AWE!
Then we see Yeshua breathing life onto the Apostles telling them to receive the Holy Spirit! He breathed on them, giving them life, as He did in the beginning, and as He is LIFE!
John 20:21Then יהושע said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
22And having said this, HE BREATHED ON THEM, and said to them, “Receive the Set-apart Spirit.(ISR 98)
