A little study into Zechariah….I found myself…coming to the Water….and tasting honey….and going with the flow of the Ruach(Spirit)….
Isa 55:1“Oh everyone WHO THIRSTS, COME TO THE WATERS. And you who have no silver, come, BUY AND EAT. Come, BUY WINE AND MILK without silver and without price. 2“Why do you weigh out silver for what is not bread, and your labour for what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to Me, and eat what is good, and let your being delight itself in fatness. 3“Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, so that your being lives. And LET ME MAKE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH YOU, the trustworthy kindnesses of Dawiḏ.
•1 Cor 6:20FOR YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.
•Romans 6:23For the WAGES OF SIN is DEATH, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master.
At What Price?
Zec 11:10And I took my staff, Pleasantness, and cut it in two, to break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.11So it was broken on that day. And the poor of the flock, who were watching me, KNEW IT WAS THE WORD OF YHWH 12And I said to them, “If it is good in your eyes, give me my wages. And if not, refrain.” So they weighed OUT FOR MY(YHWH) WAGES THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER. 13And יהוה said to me, “Throw it to the potter,” THE SPLENDID PRICE AT WHICH I (YHWH) WAS VALUED BY THEM. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the House of יהוה for the potter.
•Matthew 27:2And having bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him(Yeshua) to Pontius Pilate the governor. 3Then Yehuḏah – he who delivered Him up – having seen that He had been condemned, repented, returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and to the elders,4saying, “I have sinned in delivering up innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” 5And throwing down the pieces of silver in the Dwelling Place he left, and went and hanged himself. 6And the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not right to put them into the treasury, SEEING THEY ARE THE PRICE OF BLOOD.” 7So they took counsel and bought with them the potter’s field, for the burial of strangers. 8Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood, until today. 9Then was filled what was spoken by Yirmeyahu the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, THE PRICE OF HIM WHO WAS PIERCED (*Zec 12:10), ON WHOM THEY OF THE CHILDREN OF Yisra’ĕl set a price, 10and gave them for the potter’s field, as יהוה had ordered me.”
At the SPLENDID PRICE AT WHICH YHWH was valued…..Sold for 30 pieces of silver….SO WHOM was Pierced?
Zec 12: 10“And I(YHWH) shall POUR (LIVING WATER) on the house of Dawiḏ and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers (Zec 14:8). AND THEY SHALL LOOK ON ME WHOM THEY PIERCED, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the FIRST-BORN.
•John 19: 33but when they came to יהושע (Yeshua/Jesus) and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and instantly BLOOD and WATER came out. 35And he who has seen has witnessed, and his witness is true. And he knows that he is speaking the truth, in order that you might believe. 36For this took place in order for the Scripture to be filled: “Not one of His bones shall be broken.” 37And again another Scripture says, “THEY SHALL LOOK ON HIM WHO THEY PIERCED.”
On that Last Great Day of the Feast of Sukkot(Feast of Tabernacles), the 8th Day…..Yeshua proclaimed in Jerusalem….
John 7:37And on the last day, the great day of the festival, יהושע (Yeshua) stood and cried out, saying, “IF ANYONE THIRSTS, LET HIM COME TO ME, AND LET HIM WHO BELIEVES IN ME DRINK. 38“As the Scripture said, out of HIS INNERMOST SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER.” 39AND THIS HE SAID CONCERNING THE SPIRIT, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given, because יהושע was not yet esteemed.
• Zec 14:8 AND IN THAT DAY IT SHALL BE THAT LIVING WATERS FLOW FROM YERUSHALAYIM, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea, in summer as well as in winter.
•Jer 17:13O יהוה, the expectation of Yisra’ĕl, all who forsake You are put to shame. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken יהוה, the fountain of living waters.” (Read more on this passage and Living Water here)
That night they sold Him, for 30 Pieces of Silver, the Shepherd was struck, and the sheep scattered….He bore our sickness, and the Scars…for the wages of sin is…death
Zec 13:5but shall say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a farmer, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6“And one shall say to him, ‘What are these wounds in your hands?’(the wounds that bore the nails) And he shall say, ‘Because I was wounded at home by those who love me.’ 7“O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares יהוה of hosts. “Smite the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. But I shall turn My hand upon the little ones. 8And it shall be throughout all the soil,” declares יהוה, “that two thirds therein are cut off and die, and one third is left therein. 9“And I shall bring the third into fire, and REFINE THEM AS SILVER IS REFINED, AND TRY THEM AS GOLD IS TRIED. They shall call on My Name, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘יהוה is my Elohim.’ ”
•The FARMER: Mat 13: 37And He(Yeshua) answering, said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Aḏam
•The WOUNDS: John 20:24But T’oma (THOMAS), called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them
when יהושע came, 25so the other taught ones said to him, “We have seen the Master.” But he said to them, “UNLESS I SEE HIS HANDS THE MARK OF THE NAILS, AND PUT MY FINGER INTO THE IMPRINT OF THE NAILS.”26And after eight days His taught ones were again inside, and T’oma with them. יהושע came, the doors having been shut, and He stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”27 Then He said to T’oma, “BRING YOUR FINGER HERE, AND SEE MY HANDS. And bring your hand and put it into My side – and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” 28And T’oma answered and said to Him, “My Master and my Elohim!”
•The SCATTERED: Mat 26:26And as they were eating, יהושע took BREAD, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.”27And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28“For this is MY BLOOD, THAT OF THE RENEWED (NEW) COVENANT, WHICH IS SHED FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. 29“But I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign of My Father.” 31Then יהושע said to them, “All of you shall stumble in Me this night, for it has been written, ‘I SHALL STRIKE THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK SHALL BE SCATTERED.
•The REFINED: Rev 3:18“I(YESHUA) ADVISE YOU TO BUY FROM ME GOLD REFINED IN THE FIRE, SO THAT YOU BECOME RICH; and white garments, so that you become dressed, so that the shame of your nakedness might not be shown; and anoint your eyes with ointment, so that you see.
